Looking for the following

Looking for the following

Postby KimmieB » Sun Nov 22, 2015 6:58 pm

Hi,

I'm looking for the following horses that have been retired for quite awhile now. I usually keep track of them through the foal search on the Breeder's Cup website or Pedigree Query. However, these horses haven't produced foals in awhile. I'm wondering of they have passed on or have been exported.

Jigg's Coz - (2004 Cozzene by Young Brodie) Last time I saw, he was at Calmar Stables in Alberta for the 2014 breeding season. No mention of fee for 2015.

Chopinina (1998 - Lear Fan x Lady Aloma) Was sold in 2012, was at Hill N' Dale Canada. Last foal was in 2011.

Officer Cherrie (2005 - Officer x Madamascus) Was sold in 2012, was in Kansas. Last foal was in 2011.

Wicked Brew (2007 - Milwaukee Brew x Serene Joy) last seen in Nov. 2010 at Monmouth Park. I thought I read somewhere that she was to be retired, but haven't heard of any foals.

Any information would be appreciated. Thanks so much! KB

Jiggs Coz- last reported foals are 2012- no death report or export
Chopinina- death report 2012
Officer Cherrie- export on file
Wicked Brew- no export or death report- but no foals via JC.

Hope that helps a bit

Officer Cherrie was sent to Saudi Arabia. She has at least a 2012 colt by Tapit, named Barq Almidan, who is a winner, and a 2013 filly by You and I Forever (who I forgot existed). They don't pull up on Equineline until they are 2 though. So its not showing anything else for her.

I thought that on equineline it just lists it as unknown for unnamed foals? Unless it is slower for foreign born foals?

Chopinina's son Athenian Guard won this weekend. Sad she died.
