He hasn't run or worked since his 7th in the Shadwell Turf Mile on 10/4/14, was wondering if anyone had heard any news on retirement or another campaign for him? Hard to believe he's 6 now. I couldn't find any news for him, he just sorta slipped off the radar.

Wasn't he one of several horses that had been trained by Lukas and then were given to another trainer? If so, any word on the why of the change?

Yeah, he was one of several Calumet horses transferred to Jose Fernandez, who I guess is the farm's trainer.

Well, I am glad to see that he's off that fairly relentless schedule Lukas had had him on.

He went to the farm last April for a rest, and that's when they put him with Fernandez. I was hoping that's what they did again, I just hadn't heard anything :)

Hopefully so, though his results just before and just after the DNF does imply there may have been something off, not that it stopped Lukas from running him. Likely he shouldn't have been, and maybe that also impacted the decision in favor of switching trainers.

Looks like he went to Calumet for a rest, and is back in training at their farm training center. He's had two works so far in January. :)

Anyone know what is up with him now? He ran once in 2015 and I can't find anything recent on him.
