They might have to cancel the 3YO HOY at the awards ceremony this year.
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

I have a hunch the same family will get the trophy. As long as the engraver gets the head’s up, all will be good. Gary & Mary only need to keep a straight course to the podium.😉

Here's a more easily-accessible article, for those of us who can't read anything behind DRF's paywall.

As long as Saez isn't guiding them, they should be fine....or fined, this year I get them mixed up. ;)

Will the race even have a Grade One winner?

I was referring to the Eclipse Award Trophy. However, this probably means Servis ran out of duct tape and bubble gum. He can get a good deal on them through Amazon, especially if he buy them in conjunction with a foil hat.;)

I can’t see either of those horses being around next year so I’m just going to pretend like they are already retired.

I’m with you on Game Winner. He’s already an Eclipse Champion and the West’s probably learned from West Coast. The latter earned a lot of money last year but didn’t add much to his resume except for 3 G1 placings. Max, I’m not so sure. He’s a time bomb because I suspect he’s made of glass and tissue paper. However, there’s not much in the way of breeding. If Servis can keep him in one piece, he may need to do what Tiznow and Chrome did and force his way into an acceptable stud deal.

Part of me wants to say Max won't stand in Kentucky but another part of me remembers the "wtf" prospects who make it to Kentucky every year (i.e. Army Mule).
