For fans of SoCal morning radio, a few notes from Jonathan Hardoon of the Ragozin Sheets....

4. F&M Sprint. #6 Bellafina. None of the favorites seem worthy of the short price.
5. Turf Sprint #4 Shekky Shebaz, best longshot on the day.
6. Dirt Mile #5&1 Omaha Beach and Giant Expectations
7. F&M Turf Single the #2 SisterCharlie. 7 Vasilika and 10 Mrs. Sippy underneath.
8. Sprint #4 Mitole and # 5 Engage
9. Mile Turf #6 Got Stormy. hoping the 7/2 ML drifts up.
10. Distaff #5 Dubar Road to upset #4 Midnight Bisou, box 'em.
11. Turf #9 Bricks and Mortar over longshots 1 Zulu Alpha, 7 Alounak and 8 Bandua all 20/1 on the ML.
12. Classic #8 McKenzie on top of 3 Owendale, 4 War of Will and 11 Code of Honor.

Worth noting, the on-track clocker Toby Turrell who watches the horses on-track daily swears that McKenzie doesn't like the current track condition and Vino Rosso loves it.

You have it as I have it.
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Gamblers did not shy away one bit, in fact they set an all-time Friday record handle with $56 million dollars, some $3 million more than last year.

Wow, Come Dancing has opened at a much lower price than Covfefe.

Well OK then, Ronald R.

Mike Repole loves to talk up his horses I know that. But I think calling vino Rosso the horse to beat in the classic is being very outspoken. I'd say the horse to beat is Elate,Code of Honor, War of Will or McKinzie

I don't. CoH, but the rest have a ton to prove.

Covfefe looks pretty distracted.

She sure does. I hope she goes in the gate okay.

RE: the Classic, I'm not sure there even is a horse to beat. Think it just comes down to whomever lugs home slightly fastest.

I actually like VR quite a bit. I feel like this race and the way this track is, that he's got his name written all over it.

Yeah, if you told me my life depended on picking the winner I'd go with him despite how much I like Owendale. It's just a bit tough to think of him as a classic horse to beat. Maybe I just have some lingering hesitation because I thought he was a near-lock in last year's Belmont...

I think Spiced Perfection is a massive underlay.

Bellafina probably is too and she looks amazing.

The pace really crumbled there. Covfefe was great.

Welp, Covfefe is insanely good. Totally underestimated her. Wish Bellafina had gotten clear just a little sooner. Those two were in a different stratosphere.

Come Dancing looked like she hated being inside and never got in the bridle.

Cox is two for two now...

Come Dancing very ordinary tonight, looked beat quite a way out. Bellafina ran huge, she really likes SA.

He is having some year.

People seem to constantly underestimate Bellafina, that's for sure. The last minute exacta box between her and Covfefe really helped me out.

Good call! Bellafina ran lights-out here.

I'm cracking up imagining racing fans thirty years from now wondering what the heck was going on with her name.
