Sorry for his connections, and it feels even more tragic since we lost PotN this year. The loss of any of his offspring now feels doubly sad.

The lovely Orra Moor, a 3yo filly by Orb, broke down in the Honey Bee S at Monmouth yesterday and was euthanized. May she RIP.

Lynnwood Chase, the dam of three Royal Ascot winners - Cannock Chase, Pisco Sour, and now today Star Catcher - passed this year after foaling a filly.

Soylent green is....tasty!!!
CD race 9, he did finish the race next to last, "through after half". Sounds like they took him back to the barn and found an irreparable injury. RIP Will Call. Brief but lovely epitaph.

IIRC, another horse was eased during one of the later races at Churchill and apparently suffered from 'heat stroke.' At least he made it back to the barn OK.
It was very hot and humid at Churchill today; even one of the hosts there for Day At the Races looked like he'd been boiled and then dunked in water, he was sweating so profusely.

Hot Sriracha broke down in the 10th at Laurel Park yesterday. His injuries were too severe for them to save him. It caused a chain reaction two more horses and riders fell. All riders were ok and the two other horses were uninjured.

Tattoo Molly, by Cuvee was shipped to slaughter early this morning. I hope her death is quick.
There was an effort to save her, which was unsuccessful. She was a pretty bay lady, with white socks. She was a sweet, willing girl who could have had a second career.

I want to vomit when I read this horror. Anyone know who owned her?Flamingpage wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2019 1:36 pmTattoo Molly, by Cuvee was shipped to slaughter early this morning. I hope her death is quick.
