I'd say Yoshida got the worst of that draw, huh?Mylute wrote: ↑Wed Jun 12, 2019 8:48 pmGift Box Returns East for Stephen Foster

I wish Runaway Ghost success here. He's been burning up the track out west all year. Hopefully Gift Box can get up for another win, I really like him.

If Tom’s D’Etat sits just off the pace, I can see him being the winner here.

I wonder if this nice field will help help the 'Foster get its G1 rating back.
I saw that, too.

Several horses didn't want to load, enough so I wondered what was going on.
Good to see Elate back in the winner's circle. I didn't know if she was going to get there; she looked like she was spinning her wheels at the top of the stretch. But the slow fractions didn't help either. She needs at least 1-1/8 miles; probably would love even further.
Wow I've never heard Fipke speak before. He seems really fun. What is he doing with Nat Geo?

I was just thinking the same thing -- I had never seen him in an interview and he was really entertaining. I couldn't help rooting a little for Seeking the Soul after watching that. And Seeking the Soul has always been a good horse but he really steps things up at Churchill. I'm sure Fipke and Stewart wouldn't mind if they relocated the Breeders' Cup there from Santa Anita.
I had ending up selecting Quip, but only when I saw him being walked around the paddock. He was quite the picture; striding well and all sleek and glossy.
