I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

The Met does not disappoint..as usual. Should be a fun race.

I actually feel it's been a little lackluster in the past few years. But this year's rendition is stellar.

So many favorites. But, Mitole! Who breezed yesterday..

I don't expect a repeat of Frosted's otherworldly performance but I expect this to be a pretty fast race!
Should be exciting :D

I could be wrong but I expect a cavalry charge at the end and the margin of victory won't be bigger than 2 or 2 1/2 lengths.

I'll be rooting for Thunder Snow of course, but I think this might be a bit too short for him.

Looks like McKinzie got pounded pretty hard in the early daily double....

#8 Homerique ($4) with:

1 Coal Front $44.40

2 McKinzie $10.80

3. Mitole $16.60

4 Thunder Snow $35.80

5 Tale of Silence $320.50

6 Promises Fulfilled $120

7 Firenze Fire $17.20

8 Pavel $146

9 Prince Lucky $82

If the betting comes in strong on McKenzie and Mitole as expected, then just maybe FirenzeFire floats up a couple of points making him the best value bet.

Why the change of subject line since this is a thread about the Met Mile?

I think it’s meant in jest since the Met Mile is sponsored by Runhappy. And let’s face it, what isn’t these days 🙄

Thunder Snow was not getting by Mitole, McKenzie I'm not so sure. . . regardless, nice run (again) by Mitole.

Gotta wonder what might've happened if Thunder Snow and Mickenzie had any running room earlier...
Big congrats to Mitole, gritty!

If they were to card the exact same race back in 3 weeks, McKinzie would be 1/5.

Very nice win by Mitole but wow, Mckinzie found all the trouble he could find. Very nice effort by him!
