Track is apparently favoring speed.

Rushing Fall led gate to wire and pulled away to win the Just a Game.

Just too good.

Midnight Bisou wins the Ogden Phipps over Come Dancing and Mopotism.

I couldn't watch the entire race (because the very second I tune into Belmont I'm needed at work) but it looked like she stalked in third/second for most of the way.

Come Dancing ran the half in 45+ and looked like she was just loping along. I thought for a moment that she might be able to hold on.

World of Trouble dominated the Jaipur over Om and Disco Partner. The mare Belvoir Bay ran really well and looked like she might actually pass the winner, but got run down late and finished a close fourth.

Serengeti Empress ran so hard. What a game filly. And absolutely gorgeous too.

Track is lightning, and as this rate the pick 6 is gonna pay $20...

Need to rename the track FAST Sandy. :P We could easily see a new stakes record in the Belmont.
Not sure what the rider on Serengeti Empress was thinking...43 and change for the first half mile? No surprise she couldn't hang on.

This is a nice enough field, but I'd really hate to see one of these horses replace the big guy in the record book.

She did really well to hold on for second after that pace. I'm still proud of her!

Imagine the drama is WoW wins the Belmont?

No, imagine the drama if WoW wins the Belmont whilst smashing Secretariat's record.

I like WoW, but the only way he’d beat that record is if you strapped a jet pack to his ass.

Proud of my boy Nitrous. Just got nipped at the wire.

It won't be surprising if the track superintendent takes some criticism after the races today for the souped up track.
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Yet another outstanding victory. Are there any better horses in training than the ones we're seeing today?
