I know he isn't registered black, but does anyone have any other pictures of Long Range Toddy?

This is an incredibly unflattering photo (he seems to be a tongue-out type) but it shows his color the best

His tongue is out like that because of the tongue tie used on him.

Love this guy, Toddy is my hubby’s pet name. Gonna have to bet this guy if he makes it to the Derby or do a future wager on him.

Was browsing stud sites and I found this 2018 Aussie-bred filly. Her sire is Redwood, who is registered brown but looks dark bay. Dam is G1 winner Royal Descent (Redoute's Choice), who is also registered brown but looks dark bay or even black. The mare seen behind the filly in one of the pictures looks too light to be the dam, so I don't know if she was placed with a nurse mare, if that was a photobombing mare, or if the mother bleached out that much.

What are the chances she actually is black? It's hard to tell if she has a little mousey sheen or not because of the lighting.

That is Royal Descent, markings and freeze brand are the same as hers.
The filly is registered as brown, though she is unnamed.

The naming of this one was really well done. :D

The farm also has a Dynaformer. Can't be many of those left.

There isn't.

Bloodhorse lists 12 Dyanformer sons at stud. Well, 13 really, but I know for a fact Nicanor has been penioned to Old Friends.

Black Nova (Holiday Promise) won a race at Indiana Grand yesterday; she's registered black. She races exclusively at that track (so far) and is a stakes winner.

Here's Goofalik (Lyphard x Alik, by Targowice), a MGSW in Germany and France who stood in Germany for most (if not all) his career. He was a champion first-season sire and passed away in May of 2013 due to heart failure. He had been pensioned at the time. Registered black/brown.
