I took my daughter to see Dunkirk, boy was I disappointed. I expected to see a documentary about that gray Pletcher horse and all I saw was a yacht being bombed and shot at

Had a conversation with John Shirreffs this morning. Ziconic is turned out for some time off. He also told me he'll be getting the 2017 Zenyatta filly by Medaglia d'Oro. Been a tough run for Zenyatta, especially after she lost her Into Mischief foal this season.

Oh yuck, why send her to him? He hasn't had a smashing record with the first two.

I understand loyalty, and I do like Shireffs don't get me wrong but at this point I'm wondering if a different trainer with a different approach wouldn't be better for Ziconic, nevermind the Medaglia d'Oro, I was hoping they'd try someone else. Someone who isn't going to try and train her like her mother, but rather utilise whatever natural talents she has.
