I was crushed when TCI was banished to Korea.BaroqueAgain1 wrote:Santa Anita: Gorgeous Ginny is first 2yo winner of '17
Gorgeous Ginny ($4.20) won Thursday's second race for California-bred 2-year-old fillies, the first race of the year for juveniles in Southern California.
Ridden by Jamie Theriot, Gorgeous Ginny pulled clear in the final quarter-mile to finish 5 1-4 lengths in front of 8-1 Ismelucky. Gorgeous Ginny ran 4 1-2 furlongs in 52 seconds.
Gorgeous Ginny is by Take Charge Indy, his first winner with his second starter.
The filly is owned by Randy Howg and is trained by Robertino Diodoro. Gorgeous Ginny is out of Brooke's Halo, the winner of the Grade 2 Hollywood Oaks in 2005.

Let's see if he can do better than their sisters and at least break his maiden at some point.BaroqueAgain1 wrote:Faversham, California Chrome's only full brother, is working toward his first start, "...and the Shermans are hoping to debut him June 16 at Santa Anita Park in a five-furlong, state-bred maiden race."

Bullet work, naturally.

Here is video!
Cleo was already pretty tanky at that age, but SPD was spared the indignity of her shortened legs and he looks both taller and bigger than she
What I'm interested in is the length and reach of his stride, caught my eye when I saw the video the other day especially towards the end of the work, for every stride he took Jafar took 2. Speaking of which, the Medaglia D'Oro colt is a fine specimen too.
