Am pleased to report that he will be okay, and has been retired to a farm in KY to recover.

Yep! Just found out from Deborah Jones on FB that former connections - Zilla racing - stepped forward and retired him.

ETA: Trying to find out who actually retired him, either Kenneally or Zilla- at any rate, he is safe!

I saw Deb's post, but I think that's not correct. Still checking, but I'm pretty sure Eddie Kenneally, his last trainer, retired him. Eddie does his best to care for his horses. That Zilla video was made after Zilla lost SD in a claim.

Right front condylar fracture. Not life-threatening. Has been vanned to Dr. Hogan's clinic for surgery tomorrow.

Saint Will, vanned off last August, nothing since. I fear the worst.

Terrific Treasure, Street Cry x Treasure Trail, pulled up and vanned off during Churchill's sixth race yesterday.

That was only expected I guess...thanks for the confirmation. How does one check death reports?

You can register for free here:
https://www.registry.jockeyclub.com/

Once you login, click "Check Registration Status" and there are several fields of information, including export/returns and whether there is a death certificate on file.

Generally speaking, the vet list should be updated on Monday, in the Afternoon on the East Coast. Lately, they have been a bit slow for some reason, I do try and post under the CHRB thread. I will keep an eye out.

Any chance Sabercat survived his fall at Churchill? Didn't look good and only said vanned off.

DRF has up on DRFLive:
Nothing like an ugly breakdown to quiet a big crowd, which is what occurred in R4 as favored Carve ran off to victory. Sabercat (#2) appeared to clip heels near the rail at the quarter-pole and fell quickly and hard to the ground, throwing jockey Ricardo Santana Jr.
Thankfully, after nearly 10 min., Santana returned to the paddock runway via ambulance, and all was reported well. Track pub said he “had the breath knocked out of him” and would undergo further observation to insure he really is OK. He did walk out of the ambulance on his own power and walked back to the jocks’ room.
No word yet on Sabertcat, a 5yo horse owned by Winchell Thor. and trained by S.Asmussen.

Glad to hear that the most recent report on Sabrecat is positive.

He fell, but got up and was bucking like a bronco. I guess the saddle slipped way, way back and he freaked out even more.
