Wow, that filly is gorgeous! What color and markings, I sure hope she can also run.

I noticed Have At It in yesterday's Dixie Stakes at Pimlico is a fine specimen of liver chestnut.

Very interested to see what the Lucky Pulpit goes for. He's a colored one but he isn't exactly bred for the color.

The photographer shared another shot of the 4 y/o paint thoroughbred shown earlier in the thread. She confirms he is the Bah Da Bling x Janine colt. He doesn't have a name yet; the trainer (who must own him) submitted names to the Jockey Club and is letting them pick. The exercise rider in the photo is none other than the trainer and probable owner, Mike Sandoval. Horse looks very stout.

I notice on PQ that the sire is registered with the APHA.

This guy probably won't run a lick, but I'm absolutely enthralled and am glad he exists nonetheless.

I looked "El Chapo's" trainer up. He started training this year and currently has a record of 25: 0-1-2.

Good luck, Sandoval.

Here's Sweet Return (Elmaamul x Sweet Revival, by Claude Monet), a chestnut British-bred with rabicano markings. He won the 2003 G1 Hollywood Derby and several other graded stakes. He entered stud at Ocala and later moved to Indiana.

The white America's Prince (Honorable Dillon) fought hard to win Pimlico's seventh race on May 27. He led gate to wire, even opened up on the back stretch, and would not let the other horse pass him down the home stretch. It's his second win in a row.

I fondly remember Sweet Return. His conformation photo at the top was the background for my computer screen many years ago. 8-)

Looks like Downrange, who won Gulfstream's opener today, has a neat little mark on the inside of his right hip. He's by Field Commission and out of Imperial Blue (Indygo Shiner).

If I'm interpreting Google's translation correctly, it looks like Butchini, Buchiko's full sister, won again. She's now 2 for 2, if so.

A genuine roan filly by Holy Roman Emperor o/o Lilac in Style(Profile in Style) sells at the Magic Millions Yearling Sale as Hip #2440. She is a damline descendant of the brindle Catch a Bird. Her dam, second dam, etc have been tested and confirmed as roan. Naturally, she is being listed as a "bay" in the catalog.

EDIT: Image broke for some reason so I've replaced it with the Paulick one.
She RNA'd for 67,500 Australian dollars (reserve was 75 thousand).

I hope tachyon can tell us that it isn't true, but... fan favorite and beautiful Makeup (JPN) was injured last weekend in the 4th jumps race at Tokyo with a "left first finger joint (fetlock?) open dislocation (poor prognosis)". :( :( :(
