10yo m Professional Crush (Mizzen Mast), finished 4th at Northlands Park (5/6/17), in her first race since 2010, and only the fifth of her career. Her prior start
at Aqueduct in February 2010 was a DNF - "pulled up/vanned off". Doesn't smell good, to me.

WarBiscuit - Lookin At Lee wins the Preakness by 1 1/2 lengths...
Oh no, I missed that about Tropical Heat even though he's in my VS. He raced here many years ago. Really like this ol' warrior and hope he's okay.

I wonder if Carrie Brogden knows that Professional Crush is back racing. Although it doesn't look like Machmer Hall bred her, Carrie Brogden did own her in her previous races. That's a lot of years off there.

LOL. Thanks for giving us the Preakness winner!

Ran sixth in a seven horse field. Chart read "bumped at start, weakened"

Claimed too. New trainer John Servis. New owner Michael Dubb.

Ah, thanks BlindLucky, for the update on Bartletts! Indeed, it seems like I've been watching him forever. Happy to hear that another old soldier has retired safe and
sound. Fine looking young man, and I hope that his retirement is a long and happy one. Thanks again!

He was who he was, unlike a lot of old-timers who end their careers on the Ohio circuit. He broke maiden for a $3500 tag at Beulah and pretty much never left the state. It's pretty rare to find horses from those bottom maiden races still going a decade later. If horses could write, he'd have quite a tale to tell, I'll bet.

10YO Winner of $550,000 was 0/16 during the past 2 1/2 years, dropped to $4,000 today, finished 3rd, headed for a forever home, congrats.
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Well, this falls squarely into the "you've got to be kidding me" department. Short lived respite from the track for old Bartletts. He's entered in Race 7 at
Presque Isle Downs tomorrow (6/18/17), a low level claimer, of course. 106th start. Stinks to high heaven. Good luck old boy...
