The showjumping community has rallied for Kevin Babington in an incredible way, with the fundraiser for his medical costs raising almost $700,000. Though he is Irish, Kevin has been based in the US for over 20 years, so to see Coolmore support "one of their own" in such a way is really touching. If anyone is interested in donating to help with Kevin's medical costs, here's the link.

That's a really wonderful gesture. I have heard only the most wonderful, nice things about Mr. Babington from people in the show jumping community. I really hope he continues to do well in his recovery.
