So, who exactly is running in this race? With Game Winner and Maximum Security out... who is going? Will it finally be Tacitus' time to shine?

Tacitus

I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Always a guessing game when the morning line favorite is adding blinkers for the first time in a race like this, hmmmm?

Ah, good, thanks for posting that. I thought I had heard or read somewhere it was Tuesday for the draw, but couldn't find it anywhere, so decided I might have heard wrong and asked. I see that Spinoff didn't enter. Timing wrong for him, I guess, since he just ran 2 weeks ago. But waiting for the PA Derby will really have him swimming in the deep end with Game Winner, Maximum Security, and perhaps Omaha Beach.

I'm also really looking forward to the Personal Ensign. Elate and Midnight Bisou are the big headliners, but I'm wondering if Wow Cat doesn't have a bit of an outside chance...

Blinkers must equate with good luck as I hear the ML favorite’s defeats are directly related to bad luck.

And my trips to the ATM are directly related to bad luck as well

The line for the ATM is always longer than the SAM machines at Emerald Downs. Bad luck abounds. Recently when EMD carded Corgi Races, the lines at the SAM's were the longest before those races. I would start handicapping the crowd but the horses are easier. ;)
