Gary,
How about picking your college of choice and giving a commencement speech.
Robert Smith set the bar at Morehouse for rich guys.
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

its a foolish challenge, I doubt any other connections will take him up on it and he needs to get over it...this is seriously dragging on and on and now seems like more than sour grapes...sour attitude

West said his $20 million offer and the results of this "match race within a race" have no bearing and nothing to do with his horse's disqualification in the Kentucky Derby.
of course. and i have beach front property in nevada to sell you too.

I hope everyone totally ignores this stupid challenge. It's just a bunch of bombast.

Maybe it's just me, but I actually really like what he's done here. I wish he'd withdraw his lawsuit and move on there... but I like this sort of "my horses vs your horse, 1:1" attitude. Horse racing is built on the shoulders of stupidly wealthy individuals betting each other their horse is faster and this adds a level of intrigue beyond the norm. I've had several "non horse" friends who have seen this and want to me to tell them if/when it happens so they can watch.

I agree that the idea of the challenge is intriguing and cool, I just wish he didn't sound like such sour grapes though.

His attitude about this whole situation is what ruins the challenge for me honestly.

You're right when it comes to "stupidly wealthy individuals". A friend of mine that trains at Santa Anita says his clients have "other money" for their horse racing fetish. Some of them are so wealthy that losing a mil here or there doesn't really matter to them. I remember when The Green Monkey sold for $16,000,000 and everyone thought the owner was crazy stupid. That is until someone figured out that the owner was so wealthy that he earned that much each and every week.
