So a a couple months after the Times Union asked the NYRA to explain their latest corruption and scandal, still no answer.

"Not even two years out from under state oversight, which was required to lift NYRA from corruption-fueled financial disaster, the entity that runs thoroughbred racing in the state finds itself caught in scandal again with the abrupt resignation of its top executive, CEO and President Christopher Kay. The circumstances are disturbingly murky, with NYRA declining to talk about what it calls a personnel matter.

That's an unacceptable dodge."

Why didn't you make a big deal about this when it happened?

Because when it happened they said they were going to investigate and I gave them the benefit of the doubt. All NYRA did was revise it's ethics code.

When a former state health commissioner used public employees as servants to water her house plants, chauffeur her around to stores and to the airport for personal trips, and deliver a statue to her house she was convicted of a felony, ordered to pay $27,500 in restitution and fines, and do 250 hours of community service. Not NYRA though. They just commit crimes and cover them up.

Why won't NYRA give us the name of this unnamed senior vice-president (NYRA has four) and the utility manager who were reprimanded in this latest scandal. Should a senior vice-president who was involved in this Kay scandal even still have his job? Total cover up and corruption from the NYRA. Same old corruption NYRA. Nothing ever changes. Bad people.

Because he's a troll, and this is what trolls do.......post an article from January and call someone else out for his own pleasure while hiding behind his multiple screen names.

Twice today already.

Check that....three times. Must be bored.

Yes, I am a troll for pointing out that after months the NYRA still hasn't come clean on their latest scandal. They refuse to name the VP involved in the scandal. That is just covering up corruption. You are just an apologist for corruption and criminal activity. Bad Person.

do something about it if you're so angry and morally above this. posting on a message board doesn't count as "doing something", by the way.

Here's a suggestion for you since you are so interested in proper government oversight, while being mostly uninformed about your litany of complaints. Check with the NYS Franchise Oversight Board who were informed of everything and commended the very Board you endlessly try to roast for their immediate and decisive response. Then check with the NYS Attorney General and share with us all why they've chosen (at least to this point) NOT to indict Kay? Because anonymous clowns on the internet deserve answers..............

Yes, i'm the 'bad' person in this conversation. Want to get together in Saratoga?

I thought there was an unwritten rule.

Oh well.
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.
