I say it stands and the jockey is fined. I don't think it affected the outcome, but it was dangerous.

He fouled the 1 for sure, imo, but I hope for Jason Servis' sake they keep him up. He just won me over with the post race interview.
I just want to hug him. He is the literal definition of anxiety.

I think the result stands. If War of Will's jock isn't thinking it mattered why does this 53-1 longshot matter?

Country House did get pushed aside a bit but I don't know if Maximum Security was directly responsible.

Wow. Dangerously close to clipping heels and causing a domino fall.

High Drama.

Is this better for ratings?

I'll tell you, we were inches away from clipped heels and a 10-horse pile up in the Kentucky Derby. Holy shit......

At the very least Luis Saez ought to have a significant fine against him.

Nice run from Master Fencer, who I was told didn't belong.

I think he'd like Belmont.

I bit my nails off thinking about this all day. I feel like in some ways we're operating on borrowed time. Just Thank God nothing happened and we all get to enjoy it for a little longer..

"He was inexperienced and scared so he bore out and almost caused a horrible accident in the biggest race of the year" Maybe give your horses more exprience then??

I say he would come down on any Tuesday, he won't come down here, but there will still be repercussions because that could have been terrible.

Waiting on a replay, but it sure looked like Code of Honor got an incredible ride. And serious props to all the other jocks for preventing a tragedy there.

If it had had happened this year, it could have ended the sport. No hyperbole.

There is no reason to say he would come down on a Tuesday. I watch NYRA make different calls on the same thing all the time.

CH jock smug AF.

Mott's 100% right, but he's a little biased at the moment, huh?

We were just inches away from a pile up that would end horse racing in the USA.

Don't know what you are watching if you don't think that's what happened.

Agreed. Watching the replay, War of Will looked like he was about to run right over top of Maximum Security's butt. It is very lucky that he didn't clip heels with him. Had he fallen right there, yikes.

Maybe they should limit attendance, then. People get to flail their arms, scream, post this to Insta like this is what horses were meant to do in the first place... IDK.
