This is my first post but I've been a lurker since the Vinery days.

What's made me to jump in is a question that's been making me crazy for weeks. I thought maybe someone here might remember.

Some years ago there was a filly that wrung/swished her tail when she ran. I know she was a stakes filly... I want to think a sprinter 5-10 years ago.

Anyone recall who this was? My first thought was Carson Hollow, but she just flagged her tail.

This is driving me mad!!! Save my sanity!

I just watched the 98 Beldame & it didn't look to be her. Such a nice mare.

I have a vague memory to that effect but some horses will swish their tails in protest for being whipped. I'll wrack my brains for a specific filly, though.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

I know Different did this but that was way longer than 5-10 years.

McKinzie was the horse that got me started on this after I noticed him swish his tail in his last race. He's definitely protesting. This filly really went at it though. Her tail was like a windshield wiper!

For some reason I'm thinking sprinter, but that might be completely wrong.

That's because her tail was tied tightly.

She was a tail swisher. Watch her second in the BC Distaff.

Not a lot of her races are available.

Tizna was famous for that but that was a tad longer than 5-10 years ago.

Maybe it was her! That looks like what I remember. I was a fan of hers and it fits in the time frame. You're awesome!

The person I've been discussing this with thinks it was much more recent, a west coast filly, & Mike Smith rode. We must be thinking of different horses.

I had a heck of a time finding a video of one of her races. Could have been her but I was thinking there was more tail action.

She was my first thought but she wasn't really a sprinter.
