have to ask those of you who are located in California.... what cable provider do you have that gets TVG? my husband and I just found out today, that our cable provider (Frontier) as of today..... only gets TVG2 - no more TVG1 - and suffice it to say we are pretty mad - so we cannot watch the santa anita races today - and we will need to switch cable providers to someone who does get the main TVG channel - anyway, just wanted to know if anyone in the southern California area has any suggestions - thanks so much!!!

Spectrum

Good luck
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

It’s not cable, but streaming service DirectTV Now offers TVG. We cut the cord last year.

DISH satellite gets both but you have to buy an expensive package with lots of stuff you don't want. I was horrified to discover a set of channels featuring titles like "Schoolgirls Wet and Wild." :o (And that's a sample title--most of them I couldn't print!)
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

I had DirecTV for over a decade and had TVG from the beginning. I think I ended up being 'grandfathered in' with a frugal sports package that they no longer have. And, as far as I know, DirecTV still doesn't have TVG2.

If you want a streaming package to view using a web browser on your smart tv or a Roku device attached to your tv (and are not wedded to having to watch TVG), then try Racetrack Television Network (https://www.rtn.tv/package-online.aspx). Calracing is $5/month or you can get all Thoroughbred tracks for $15/month. I'm waiting for them to support Apple TV.

I just found out today that we no longer get TVG, and we are PAYING for it. We never got TVG2. They will be hearing from us. And it will not be pretty.
