I am flying up late Friday from Atlanta and will be at the races Saturday! For someone like me, them moving all the baby races to Friday and making Saturday the "grown up" day really helped make the decision about going. I was pretty bummed when Justify ran off to the shed, but the ultra-competitive fields and the great shippers from Europe have made up for it. I'm also a die-hard Mind Your Biscuits fangirl, so seeinghim in the flesh in the Classic is probably 100x better than Justify.

I’m flying up from Tampa tomorrow and will be at CD both days. We’re driving to Lexington on Sunday to hit Keeneland and some of the stallion open houses.

Man I wish.

I had tickets bought to go to my very first Derby this year but it fell through.

Too broke this year. Fortunately I start a new job next week and next year might be the year. Let me see if I can pay off these student loans first. ;)

Into Louisville and first stop is CD tomorrow for a rain soaked preview.
I couldn't resist getting there early and wetting my appetite.

6th Floor Millionaires views/experience and buffet for only $39.

Friday/Saturday ... my first BC and I'm ready!

"... and wetting my appetite."

That's funny, since you may, indeed, be getting wet. ;)

Third Floor Clubhouse both days. Seventh straight Breeders Cup providing United Airlines has its act together....so I'll probably be there.

Next year in California. I've been to the Derby at CD but never to the BC. Hope you enjoy it but also hope to see you in California next time. Lots of space and gardens even for general admission.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Met a couple from Alaska on my flight who are going to the BC. They’re looking forward to the warmer weather while I can’t wait for the cooler weather

I hope you all have fun!
I wanted to try to go with my grandmother but with her accident wasn't sure in what shape her leg would be like by then (she's doing much better than expected but still limping somewhat) and I didn't get as much work as I had thought over the summer so a bit under budget but like Starine, started a new job so maybe next year!
Will be hoping it stays clear of rain both days for everyone going.

Have fun!! Sunday that's probably my plan - Three Chimneys to see Gun Runner, Indian Ridge to see The Player, Keeneland or FT to see some mares.
