I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Bravazo on top, eh? He's very honest and he has danced every dance; wouldn't it be something if he finally had his moment in the sun in the Midsummer Derby?
I'm not sold on Wonder Gadot either. There's no Justify or Monomoy Girl here but she's still in awful deep. I like Catholic Boy but I agree that he is probably best on turf.
Good Magic makes the most sense but I wouldn't mind seeing Bravazo get it.

I’m hoping we get some kind of Good Magic, Bravazo, Wonder Gadot trifecta.
Just really stoked that some connections are taking a sporting chance (Wonder Gadot).

I have narrowed my win candidate to either Catholic Boy, Bravazo, or Tenfold.
GL everyone. Not betting the race, but should be a good one.

At his likely odds vs. some of the others I think he's worth a shot at least for the exacta. He's consistently run pretty well, the race in LA aside when he blew the turn, and has enough early speed to be tactical. Good Magic is the class, but his price will be so low that I'm looking elsewhere for the win.
Trigger Warning, Meistermind and King Zachary would be a surprise in the winner's circle, but other than those I think it's pretty wide open actually.

All Stakes P4
Against Whitmore, so playing the other contenders, 1, 5, 6 and 8.
While the Travers was once a single for me.......no longer after spending some time perusing the Rag numbers. Need to back up Good Magic with a couple more.....Gronkowski, Catholic Boy and yes, King Zachary (improving pattern who just needs a little jump up to get into the winners circle).
Which forces me to narrow my two As (Hi Happy and Sadlers Joy) in the Sword Dancer in the 2nd leg, where I was once 5 deep. A win by the 2,3,7 sends me to the bar for a few pops to recover from my regrets prior to diving into the Travers vertical exotics.
Closing my P4 play with A Raving Beauty and Off Limits in the Ballston Spa.

I thought he was done coming around the turn but he just kept on going. Happy to see a Shack baby do well.

Promises Fulfilled certainly appears to have inherited his sire's will to win.
Gidu pressed PF for much of the race, but couldn't stay with him. IMO, that dirt experiment with the Frankel colt wasn't a smashing success and I expect to see the grey colt back on the green stuff next out.

I believe this is the first grade 1 winner for Shack!

Abel Tasman looked like a beast in the walking ring. I like the Chilean filly, Wow Cat, given the odds.

Abel Tasman may have done well along the rail, but Marley's Freedom had to come four wide to take the G1 Ballerina.
Maybe Mike Smith's winning touch with distaffers matters more than which part of the track the horse is on?

Mendelssohn is weird. If he runs well I won't be surprised, but at the same time if he runs poorly I won't be surprised either.
