Haha sorry no I just mean that one commercial, I think for Longines.

I bet she means the commercial with guy with the watch. It's only run about 100 times.;)

Arrogate seems to have good energy. Gun Runner looks exactly like he always does.

Anyone else go “omg really? That long ago??” when they mentioned Curlin won the Classic 10 years ago? Ugh
I had a moment when they said Curlin was ten years ago! Feels like yesterday we were comparing him to Jesus! Lol

Waaaaay too many empty seats on that grandstand and apron. Apparently it was practically a ghost town on Friday, slowly filling up today but nowhere close to Churchill or Keeneland.
From where I'm sitting it looks packed every where.

I hope West Coast and Mub absolutely squeezing Churchill wasn't intentional...

I wonder if Arrogate took a bad step out of the gate.

WOW - when was the last time a horse won the Classic wire-to-wire? Gun Runner went into another gear down the stretch.

Arrogate had absolutely nothing, yeesh.

Keep your horses in training! That's what happens.

Swerved a bit but he didn't run like a lame horse. He responded to Mike's urging but just wasn't fast enough.

With the way the races have been going I almost discounted Gun Runner but my god am I so happy he pulled it off!

I know it's stupid to blame the track, and I don't, but I do wonder if Arrogate would have done any better had the BCC been at Santa Anita or somewhere other than Del Mar this year. All signs point to him just not being the same horse anymore, but it can't be a coincidence that all of his worst performances have been at Del Mar.

Actually sort of surprised they don't want to give him a shot in the Pegasus before retirement, but what do I know.

I love love LOVE Gun Runner and am so happy for him!

Thought he was gonna fold in the stretch but he was a game dude every step of the way.

Steve has some spectacularly luscious locks.
Not a wholesome trottin' race, no, but a race where they sit down right on the horse!
Like to see some stuck-up jockey boy sittin' on Dan Patch? Make your blood boil? Well, I should say!

I can't believe the ride Mike gave, I mean it was over from the gate but what a disappointment.

Sure looked like every horse in the race was ready to fall down in that final eighth, but Gun Runner earned it.

Albeit, it was pretty quick early fractions and GR kept on with it.

Congrats to Gun Runner! Such a cool horse, can you say GUTS? Trainers, owners, stud farms... take note. As Som said.
I think Arrogate broke very poorly and probably put his chances in jeopardy but he did run on, just wasn't enough.
I'm still disturbed by how much Churchill got bumped around at the beginning.

Excellent!!!! Wtg Gun Runner!

I wasn't a fan of Arrogate - to me, he came out of nowhere and it became Arrogate this and Arrogate that, but I am sad to see him fade like this. Doesn't take away from what he's done though.

Congrats Gun Runner fans and connections!

Aww...Mike is at a loss for words. I want to give that classy guy a hug right now.

Oh I agree, I'm just surprised that nobody else was running at the end.

That head-on of Arrogate's break was pretty painful to watch.
