I've never been to Canterbury. I hope to visit it someday.

We sent one of our horses, Aces High, there for the first time this summer. He's 6 now, so we wanted to find him some slightly softer company than the allowance/AOC crowd he's been up against in KY during his normal summers. He's beat some decent stakes horses home, but Canterbury seemed like a nice change of pace. It's been a positive experience for us as partners (even though I doubt any of us ever makes it to MN for his races) and Canterbury seems to be laid back enough that our horse has had a good time there, too. He's won 2 of his 4 starts--one of them on turf, which he has never particularly cared for before :)
