I'm not sure they call what he does "running"

He's been on quite the hot streak as of late in Saudia Arabia, so I wouldn't be surprised if they bring him over for the DWC

Are there any web sites that track workouts of horses in Dubai? Also stakes nominations and PP for Dubai like what Equibase has for free?

Even news from Dubai on how horses are looking at the track and what their trainers are saying, etc.

The main site I use for entries and results is emiratesracing.com, but it doesn't have workout information, as I think that most of the horses (the local ones at least) workout in private yards and only ship in Meydan to test out the surfaces/occasional works and to race.

The Facebook page for Dubai Racing Club also posts some pics from races and workouts.

And Pat Cummings of Dubai Race Night has a pretty informative Twitter that covers UAE racing:

Those are the first resources that come to mind, I hope they're helpful!

He's running in Saturday's Group 1 Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, Jose Lezcano has the mount. Looks like they're cranking him up for another DWC try.

There are a few other jockeys there this weekend for these races, Joel Rosario has a mount in that same Group 1.

Ron the Greek won by several lengths, but quite a few horses went down in the final turn. Looked like one broke down caused a chain reaction. Couldn't find any details on that part of the race.

7 horses did not finish the race.

"Jockeys involved in spill were Eddie Castro, Alan Garcia, Alexis Moreno, Alonso Quinonez, A Alazhari, Mohammed Saeed. Dettori did not fall and eased his horse, which survived. Sadly 3 did not, including King of the Danes (Castro's mount)."

Is Ron the Greek still going by that name? I thought his new owner changed it...to Wattani, IIRC.

They did, but I just can't get behind that name change.

RTG is on quite the roll. The return to dirt in Dubai will help and we know he can run huge.

Article on Bloodhorse about the race:
http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/ ... udi-arabia
"The race, a group I contest in Saudi Arabia but not a black-type event, was marred by a horrific spill in which seven horses in the 18-horse field did not finish, including King of The Danes, who was ridden by U.S.-based Eddie Castro.
According to a Saudi television race presenter, Castro was taken to a hospital and reportedly was not seriously injured.

Harp Star(JPN) is set to make her seasonal debut today in the G2 Kyoto Kinen 2200m turf at Kyoto before her tilt at the Dubai Sheema Classic. Kizuna(JPN) will make his long-awaited return from injury, too, in this race.
This is going to be an interesting showdown between the two!!
Harp Star is quoted as the 11/10 favorite at the moment, while Kizuna is 6/5.

I wonder if TVG will show the race? They usually carry racing from Japan, but their International Racing time slot tonight is only described as racing from Hong Kong.

-- from santaanita.com stable notes (Feb 16)

Galicado, unbeaten in three starts in his native Argentina by a combined margin of 21 ½ lengths, worked six furlongs on the main track Monday morning in 1:12.60 for Ron McAnally, who plans to run the son of Asiatic Boy in the $2 million UAE Derby in Dubai on March 28. “The horse was sent to me during the Del Mar summer meet,” said McAnally, whose proclivity with South American imports is a matter of record
