Dance in the Mood is definitely one of the most beloved daughters of Sunday Silence.mariasmon wrote:Yay! I loved Dance in the Mood.tachyon wrote:Shadow Dancer(JPN), 2011C. We all hope that she will be a G1 producer!!
Maybe with her 2013 Empire Maker filly?

Let me repost a pick of her and her 2013 baby!

Tea Time (dam is 1/2 to Arch, full to Acoma) broke her maiden today at Belmont by over 3 lengths.
Woohoo - thanks for posting - I didn't get to watch the races today so very happy to see this. It was only her second start and she was 3rd in her first start...ChampionCurlin wrote:Tea Time (dam is 1/2 to Arch, full to Acoma) broke her maiden today at Belmont by over 3 lengths.
Noble Jewelry(USA), 2008M. Smarty Jones(USA) x Noble Stella(GER) by Monsun(GER), won in the Hanshin 11R Chushu ''Stakes'' 1400m dirt allowance on September 17th, improving her record to 18-5-7-2.
Her next start will be in a stakes race.
I couldn't watch this race live as I was at work today.
But I have just seen the replay now.
Ridden by Yasunari Iwata, she didn't get a nice break from the gate. But, instead, she did show her heart in the final furlong. Yes, she can rate.
Yay for her!

Amelie, Distorted Humor x Azeri, was the fav for a 1400m dirt allowance for fillies and mares, 7R, at Hanshin last Saturday, but finished 10th.
She showed a good early speed, as usual, to lead the field up to the final corner, and then began to struggle to keep the lead near the final furlong pole, but couldn't (no injury reported after the race).
Probably off her form, but this defeat may be too hard to swallow because there was almost no point to be positive about. Too negative? Hope I'm wrong.

Storm Swept, a Pletcher firster broke her maiden in her debut. Race 1, Wednesday at Belmont going a mile. She closed nicely, and looks to have a bright future. She's a Stormy Atlantic filly o/o a half sister to Unbridled Time.
