Would you say Spendthrift is teasing a new stallion announcement in this ad?
I checked their facebook. They are showing stall doors with old nameplates on them, Seattle Slew and Nashua, and keep saying 9/13/19.

Re: Waiting for news on ...

Fast and Accurate hasn't had a race or workout since July. Not a lot of time has passed but I'm curious if he's shown up on any vet lists. On SkKychai Racing's facebook page, there is an August 9 photo of him "Fast and Accirate [sic] out for a gallop". https://www.facebook.com/skychairacing/ But, t...

Re: 2019 Keeneland September

I'm especially looking forward to Cavorting's Curlin filly. Cavorting has been forgotten because she was injured and missed the Breeder's Cup, but she was a fantastic filly........ She's an out. So is Rachel's Valentina's Curlin colt. Did you catch the video from TDN that I posted a few days ago in...

Re: Stallion Headshots Collection

Thank you, but they finally showed up ( after I closed all my other tabs, lol) . :P He's a very attractive boy, so it must have been fun photographing him. I wonder if that path through the flowers is something he regularly walks up without a groom. There is a groom. It's a good photoshop for the m...

Re: Jockey club exploring 140 mare cap per stallion

"We are disappointed that The Jockey Club would float this idea without anyone having approached us and asked our opinion," Toffey said. "We obviously breed larger books. If you were to reduce Into Mischief's book, his becomes a very expensive stud fee, and the way it is now works for a lot of smal...

Re: Jockey club exploring 140 mare cap per stallion

Anyone who thinks this isn’t a good idea... 245 mares??? Are they building an Into Mischief army? I know he’s HOT, but give the horse a chance to live to 20. They are one of the farms complaining about it, in this other article on Bloodhorse. They stood 4 stallions that bred over 165 mares in 2018....

Re: Tiz A Minister

Yes what I found strange was the Jockey Club doesn't have the pedigree of a horse born in 1937. Its also interesting to see Noor in the pedigree.

Tiz A Minister

I was looking at the Bloodhorse article about him siring his first winner. I decided to look at his pedigree. I saw something you don't see often in pedigrees, at least not as close as it is in him. If you go back his tail female line to Meadow Fescue(1937), they do not know the dam of either her si...

Re: Graves

Polynesian stood across the road from where Native Dancer's dam resided which was Scott Farm, which I'm sure changed names as well. I found a page that says that Gallaheer was acquired by Pillar Stud, which was The Stallion Station, and 505 Farm but has since changed hands and is McPeek Racing. Howe...

Anything on Leslie's Lady?
She was bred to Kantharos.
Wow, really? That’s definitely not who I expected them to send her to.
She is carrying a filly according to the video on TDN.

TDN has a video of Leslie's Lady, including her AP yearling filly and her foal by Not This Time. I can't find a normal link to it.. its just in their video bar.

Re: 2019 Keeneland September

TDN has a video about Leslie's Lady. It shows the very nice looking AP - Leslie's Lady filly, she really looks like AP. They said more than likely this is the last Leslie's Lady that will go through the ring. The family plans to keep her weanling and next years foal. I can't find a normal link to it...

Re: Horses sent to Korea-what happens to them

I'm not for horses being treated poorly or cruelly. However, I don't see what is done different there than here. You can't act like thousands upon thousands of US horses aren't slaughtered every year for meat. Also because its culturally unacceptable to eat horse meat in the US doesn't make it inher...

Just stumbled across this (apparently) Thoroughbred stallion in Queensland Australia though I have never heard of his sire Gold Bold And Rich (USA) before or much in the sireline so maybe someone can help me out https://www.bloodstockauction.com/sales/2019/09/03/catalogue/73 This was the only place...

I thought euthanized animals can’t go for meat. Administering drugs that kill you... doesn’t seem suitable for meat. You would think so, however, the FDA has found it in dog food, this article is from last year. https://www.newsweek.com/dog-food-recall-fda-finds-deadly-pet-euthanasia-several-common...

Re: Sadler's Well

If they can bury people. Why cant they do with animals? No difference there. Body is body. Well if you want to go there... They remove all the bodily fluid and almost always put the coffin into a concrete(or some other material) liner to prevent contamination of ground water. I don't think its feas...
