Re: 2019 Three-Year-Olds

Re: The greatness of a nation and its moral progress

You should warn people about the picture their brain is going to be seared with when they open that link. There is something wrong with those people. None of them should ever be allowed to own an animal again. And kudos to Victoria and Co. . . . They're getting some $$$ from me. It is beyond horrif...

Re: Royal Ascot 2019

I thought Kimari ran a remarkable race on that ground. In some of the larger fields, horses towards the back came back looking like they'd run on mud. Greatly enjoying the week so far, and I'm looking forward to seeing Maven run tomorrow! Ward seems to be really high on him, and that's a good sign....

Not sure where else to post this but... Threat was a close second, beaten just half a length, to Arizona in today's Coventry (GB-G2) at Royal Ascot. He's by Footstepsinthesand, but his second dam is the good Japanese-bred mare Shiva, who stunned males in the Tattersalls Gold Cup (IRE-GI) years ago. ...

Disappointed 8n Roadster--i guess he just isn't as good as I thought he was
I wouldn't write him off just yet. Baffert himself said the horse had lost weight and Smith said he didn't have that usual punch. It's very clear the colt is not in form right now and probably needs time off.

How many 10 furlongs stakes races are there for the distaffers?
Isn't there a race at Delaware (Delaware Handicap?) that we've seen mares like Blind Luck win?
I was going to say the Personal Ensign at Saratoga but then I remembered they shortened that.
