Clydesdale Sprint - Pirongia Boxing Day Races 2014

Re: AirAsia flight carrying 155 people missing

There was a Twitter report that the Indonesian Navy recovered 40 bodies from the water. Also, an Indonesian TV station showed images of the debris field that included the bodies of the dead ... which were then seen by loved ones hoping to hear of any news. Just horrible and sad. Edited to add: BBC c...

Re: Drawing new fans key to future...

I was recently labeled a "disgusting excuse for a human being" by a friend of a friend online due to the fact that I'm part of an ownership partnership. Hard to bring in new fans when sometimes I don't even want to talk about horse racing in front of people who don't follow it, because I'm tired of...

Re: Anyone here use a trackball in lieu of a mouse?

Thanks, I hadn't thought about using a drawing tablet. I guess that's like using a trackpad + a pen?. Another thing to look at if the trackball doesn't work out.

Anyone here use a trackball in lieu of a mouse?

I ordered a Logitech trackball to try out because I'm getting some repetitive motion problems with the hand I use for mousing. I've seen some reviews that say switching to a trackball helped to resolve that kind of issue, but I wondered if anyone here has made the switch as well? If you have, does t...

How does Santa get into a home without a chimney?

The kids' answers are cute. :) How does Santa get into a home without a chimney? With the holiday season upon us, Trulia had a burning question: Does your home have a chimney for Santa to shinny down to deliver gifts this year? We crunched the data and discovered that many new homes don’t feature an...

Re: Gov’t Report: Little Competition for High-Speed Broadban

In my area, there's only one choice for broadband and one for DSL. They can charge what they want as a result. Considering the size of the U.S. economy, you'd think we would have more choice and better pricing. Its the same here but I read recently that someone wanting to change from broadband to D...

Re: No hope for 18 poisoned horses at FL equestrian center

Just heartbreaking. I don't pretend to know anything about equine medicine, but I guess there's no way to flush a toxin like this out of a horse's system? Also, the article doesn't say where the feed came from, but if the equestrian center had a specific supplier, I'm surprised that supplier wouldn'...
