Re: War Emblem?

Disappointing. Maybe he can be pensioned and moved to Northern Horse Park so fans can see him? I can't really blame them for continuing to try, Mr. Yoshida has funds to spare when it comes to finding out if there is anything wrong with the horse... and when it comes to attempting to have him cover m...

They also had a 'Sandusky' in training last year... It was in England so I am not sure if whoever named it was following headlines, but it's not like it is particularly catchy name otherwise... :?:

I am of the mind that no news is good news Exactly! I'm happy that they've gone above and beyond in keeping their international fans informed on what's going on. Social media can be such a great thing sometimes. I only got to see him run once back in 2011, but I followed him before that and hope so...

Re: Cotillion Stakes H. (Grade I)

cant really blame him. If POS was in the Cotillion people would complain she was too good and is ducking older competition (RD), but now that she's in the tougher race that isn't good enough either  which "people" is that? Nobody would ever say that any horse is "too good" to be running in a ...

Re: Keeneland September 2013 sale

I only watched a few of go through the ring on the live stream, but I happened to catch a filly who is half to two time Japanese Champion and successful sire Symboli Kris S RNA at 95,000. Anyone know if there was something physically wrong or do american breeders/owners just not find that appealing?...

* I was thinking the same thing as Bare It All...even if Frankel has been getting 95% of his mares in foal, Vodka is a big miss. I wonder if she has been left in England for another try next year, or if she has been brought back to Japan by now. She has been in Europe since 2010, I can't see them b...

"It's not like he's a stallion and we're trying to prove anything as far as breeding or standing him at stud," LoPresti said. "We just want to put him in places where we can keep him undefeated and we can enjoy him." I think that sums up their mindset pretty well http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-raci...

pretty cool seeing the English and Japanese derby winners duking it out. Orfevre's turn of foot is just scary, and as far as treve goes, my heart was in my throat at the top of the stretch
