Re: Maclean's Music

I wonder if Cloud Computing takes after his dam, Quick Temper, physically? CC is gorgeous; MM isn't. He may have been smokin' fast, but he's not exactly smokin' hot in the looks department. :P I don't know, I've seen Maclean's Music twice at Hill 'n' Dale, once right off the track and again last ye...

Re: The Preakness

Sorry to disappoint you, but IMO the entry strategy to the TC races should be changed: only those should be allowed to contest them who enter all three, barring unforeseen circumstances. Again, the races are not actually associated with each other. But you want Pimlico and Belmont to agree to give ...

They don't care. They only banned them in 2013 (right after the Boston Marathon bombing).

Re: The Preakness

Cloud Computing was not exactly flying home. He edged past a very tired horse that actually showed heart and fought back as well as he could when collared and passed. I can't imagine this is going to be a very highly rated Preakness. Always Dreaming was under pressure on the inside. I don't think h...

Kobe's Back is back in the Kona Gold at Santa Anita this weekend. http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/221646/kobes-back-seeks-return-to-winning-form-in-kona-gold I hope he does well, although Baffert's Lord Simba seems to be the sharp horse right now. Cozzetti is also for sale in Smith's Grove, KY (per a post on FB, not sure I can share it--or figure out how haha). He's been retired and retrained over the last few years and used as a lesson horse :D https://scontent-lga3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/18446864_10154740134304007_1406820258375034644_n.jp...

At least it's people, not horses.

Re: 2017 Pimlico Special H. (G3)

Where are all these random Conquest horses coming from and why are we only seeing them this year (at least it seems like)? Conquest dispersed all of their stock last November and they had a TON of horses, so I think they've just been spread out all over the place with different trainers now. Conque...

Re: TV Discussion Thread

I'm a bit behind on Once Upon a Time, but um... these characters are NOT returning next season? So basically, the whole focus of the show?

Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison)
Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin)
Prince Charming (Josh Dallas)
Henry (Jared Gilmore)
Belle (Emilie de Ravin)
Zelena (Rebecca Mader)

I have a parking pass for myself for the Clubhouse lot, about a 1 minute walk to the entrance  I don't have any extras parking passes, but they still have them for sale (the parking passes are emailed to you, you print them and they scan them at the gate to the lot). I know most of the people t...

And did anyone watch Legion and come out on the other side with their sanity intact? I loved it, even though I didn't know WTF was going on half the time.

Re: TV Discussion Thread

SyFy has had a good run lately with some of their best shows in years, PLUS they continue to renew them :D

The Expanse is fantastic, Killjoys is fun with some great cast chemistry, Dark Matter keeps getting more twisted, and even though I liked the books, I love The Magicians (the show).

Preakness Tickets

If anyone wants Preakness tickets, we have 2 left (possibly 3 if my other friend backs out and I end up going by myself). It's the 4 front row seats in a box, right on the rail in the stretch. They are face value, this year $160 each (plus whatever it takes to ship them to you). They are on the rail...
