Re: 2013 Breeders Cup Classic

Is there any truth to her being cross entered then? I seem to remember reading something like that but it was awhile ago. There was a tweet about this back in August I think? Can't remember who from but I think DRF retweeted it. Also, it may say in a BloodHorse article if she's cross entered or not...

He does.
It's not even something they'd need another shot for; it'd take literally two seconds to fix in just about any picture editing program.

Re: Buzzer issue still unresolved

How did a horse who shaded 24 seconds in the last quarter of his Belmont not get twelve furlongs that day? He didn't get it as fast as Rags to Riches did, but he did get it. You're arguing to the choir. I'm just saying that some people said and remain saying that Curlin couldn't win at 12 furlongs ...

Re: Buzzer issue still unresolved

I hasten to add, when Curlin lost the Belmont by a nose, it was said he couldn't get 12 furlongs. I argued that losing by a nose didn't mean he couldn't get 12 furlongs - he just couldn't get it that day and probably would never get the opportunity to try again. I remember how many people told me h...

Re: Royal Delta

If she goes to the Classic, as long as she wins the Beldame, she has the older mare eclipse locked up. Honestly I think it's pretty tough to make a case for anyone other than her for the older mare Eclipse regardless of what happens in the Beldame or Distaff/Classic. Unless Authenticity sweeps both...

Re: Stallions in Japan

I see that Insane Crazy posted a IHA topic, but I'd like to resume this more broad one we had before the hacking. I sure hope Tachyon and Uma make it back here. ''Stallions in Japan''??? The original thread title was ''Japanese stallions''. Poor Hat Trick, Silent Name, Agnes Gold, Dabirsim and so o...

Re: Stallions in Japan

Eh...I've been in a raicng graveyard for more than 3 days, and now obviously been half-dissolved in there. But, in response to a voice calling me back to the forum to say hello as a zombie :? , here is part of the numbers of mares bred to Japanese stallions in 2013: 1. Deep Impact -- 262 (Is he all...

If the owner is still planning on skipping the BC (I haven't seen otherwise, but I haven't particularly been looking), he could very well be using the Beldame as Princess' own personal Distaff.

Re: 2013 Three Year Old Male Eclipse Award Winner

This should be a link to the project itself if anyone is interested - https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BwAB7wcWshYfMDlqRXdJV2toWEE/edit?usp=sharing Interesting that only four sprinters since Kona Gold have been able to score higher than he did. You've probably explained this before, but how do your ...

Are G1 wins against older horses worth more or is it a flat 60 regardless of conditions?

Re: Breeders' Cup Top 5

Good luck with that one. Funny how things change... Earlier in the year after his Sunshine Millions win he was one of the poster children for Eastern dominance in the older horse ranks while I continued to tout Game On Dude as at the same level as those eastern horses. Now I mention him as a possib...

Re: Breeders' Cup Top 5

With the presence of two front running horses isn't there a danger that Game On Dude and Cross Traffic get worn out allowing someone like Palace Malice to close just off the pace? I think Ron The Greek might pay Game On Dude back for his loss in the Santa Anita Handicap earlier in the year. I'm cur...
