Are they improving the rest of the card? I doubt people will pay $100+ if 1/2 the card is Maiden and Claiming races like this year's Donn card. Which brings up another question. Are they going to move all the other stakes races to the Pegasus card? Or is he putting the Pegasus with the Sunshine Mil...

Apologies to Beholder I was thinking older males when I posted... 8-) No offense, but I don't consider Dortmund in the same category, and his number is up anyway. I actually almost didn't list Dortmund because I more or less agree with you but I also can't dismiss him because he is a legitimate rac...
I think Melatonin is on the shelf and won't make it. This morning: http://www.drf.com/news/preview/melatonin-sizzles-six-furlong-workout-breeders-cup-classic I sit corrected. I have much respect for Chrome and think he's a real solid horse (and a vastly improved one from 2014), but IMHO he appears ...
In regards to Exaggerator, I read a tweet that he was sent to WinStar for some 'R&R' so basically retirement in 3, 2.... Kind of a shame because he likes SA and would probably get a nuclear pace to run at in the Classic. But with the schedule he's had, not surprising that there isn't anything left ...
Thanks guys! Paris is definitely in the lead as far as honeymoon locations go :D Definitely should plan the honeymoon to be say, around the first weekend of October? ;) Also confreakingratulations! :D Hahaha hey that's not a bad idea at all! And thank you :D Any opportunity to go to the Arc that is...

We don't even necessarily need to be talking about hitting the horse. He hardly even moved his hands until just outside the eighth pole.Spahny wrote:Exactly how many times should he have hit Frosted to result in a win? There must be a science to it. I defer to the experts now.
I'm actually very happy, this is Shaman's Ghost first G1 win, and his second Graded win as an older horse. He's won at 1 mile 1/2, 1 mile 1/4, 1 mile 1/8th and 1 mile 1/16th. He's proving to be a very versatile boy. I hope they keep him in training for next year, he could be developing into somethi...
If you weren't here during the War Emblem days, you truly missed out. Never seen so much back on forth on whither or not a horse was ugly or not. When I hear of an ewe neck that's all I think of. Having now seen the horse in person (up close - 02 BC doesn't count), he's not one I would pick out of ...
If you weren't here during the War Emblem days, you truly missed out. I cut my teeth on this board during the War Emblem days! I was a wee thing (10? 11?) and I don't think I posted much, but boy was it a...place. :D Someone mentioned Spurlock -- he was salty, for sure, but he seemed like an alrigh...

Eat your heart out, Songbird.
ETA: that last comment was not directed at your or anyone in particular.
What (or who) exactly do you mean by this?clocker wrote:My estimate is that Chrome's crop in 2014 was one of the better ones as far as classic distances.
I feel like you and Commy are saying more the same things than you're not, but without knowing what you mean I can't really tell for sure.
