Re: Siblings (and offspring) of well-known horses

Avie’s Flatter, half to SW Avie’s Mineshaft, won the Transylvania S (G3T) at Keeneland yesterday.
Another good one for Ivan Dalos/Josie Carroll!

Re: The Florida Derby

yikes.... I wonder what Mott thinks of Javier's ride - he kept having to put the brakes on this horse - what a shame. but the winner sure looked like, well, a winner. and Shug's horse, he looked like he saw something in the infield - not unlike Nyquist years ago. Hidden Scroll is overrated. He has ...

What a race in the Pan American.

Focus Group wins by a nose over Melmich.
Damn! Melmich is one of those horses who never ever gives up. I was hoping he would take this.

Re: 2019 Dubai World Cup Carnival

that Derby winner.... you guys are smarter than I am about this stuff - does that final time mean anything? I don't know how that track in Dubai is playing today - but it was a slow time for the distance I think. again, I am probably wrong though. It’s never fast there. Hard to gauge the times ther...

A friend said she heard a rumor that Zenyatta was bred to Union Rags. As much as I love Rags that seems like an odd choice. Anyone out there know anything?
They are breeding Warmbloods!!!
I love Union Rags... but this is interesting/odd.

Sorry to see Gunmetal Gray is injured... but Geez, if I had a horse at SA, I would relocate it.

Take Charge Lady has both of her hands in the cookie jar in the Rebel - dam of Take Charge Indy, the sire of the winner of Division 1, and 2nd dam of the winner of Division 2.
Not too shabby!

Midnight Bisou is such a lovely mare, and it’s nice to see her strutting her stuff. I thought that was a nice showing by Elate off an injury and lay-off. Hope to see them in the Apple Blossom again!

He really reminds me of a bigger, scopier Storm Cat. Just a beautiful horse!!!

Remember this guy? Ramsey's International Star had his first race (AOC) yesterday since 5/5/2017 and finished last in a field of 9 at Gulfstream. He's a 2012 H MGSW. www.equibase.com/static/chart/pdf/GP031419USA9.pdf Saw that. Hope that was just a long-time-away-needed-a-start kind of race... Nice ...

It’s really a shame she was injured, and I’m guessing she’s retired. Too nice of a broodmare prospect with that pedigree.
