Re: 2017 Names

La Megalodon c. Palace Malice x Shooting Party (1/2 to Breaking Lucky, Quake Lake) I wonder if the colt is big and a biter. :o Because when I think of a Megaladon, what I envision is huge with a mouth full of huge teeth. ;) I do hope that Palace Malice does well at stud; he was a fine racehorse and...

Do you think Hong Kong has physical issues or are they trying to find the right spot for him?

I just cannot get behind a horse who comes from a sire line of big, slower maturers and with a grandsire with zig-zag legs... who runs THAT fast. How long is he going to be around???
His dam made 32 starts—maybe he’ll take after her.

Mr. Money won the Indiana Derby. He’s a running freak, and he’s become my favourite 3-year-old colt.
He won the WV Derby (G3) today by 6 lengths. He may not be the best 3yo colt, but he’s become the most consistent.

Stradivarius won his 3rd Goodwood Cup (GI this year) comfortably. He remains unbeaten in his last 8 starts now.
So happy to see this. He and Enable are my favorites. I hope Too Darn Hot runs well tomorrow.

Romantic Pursuit (MDO-Questing) won today for Godolphin in a 1 1/4 turf maiden at Belmont. Big field of 10 horses, too.
She won again today over 1 3/8 on turf at Saratoga.

Such distressing news for certain. I wonder if the stress of travel and quarantine is too much, will he just remain in New Zealand permanently.

I know Ribot ended up in the US permanently because of issues flying him home.
Ribot was pretty much nuts, right?

He's doing a little better.
