Frankel had his first European classic winner today when Anapurna won the Oaks under Frankie for John Gosden. It’s nice to see an relatively small owner-breeder like Meon Valley Stud bag a classic over Coolmore. Coolmore owns or co-owns 7 of the 13 runners in the Derby tomorrow.

Saw somewhere earlier that War Front started out at like either $17K or $7K.
