Re: RIP Laughing

Ditto on worrying about the extreme changes in temperature - the difference in overnight temps where I live in South Florida over the last 3 nights is close to 30 degrees F, we get back to warm in muggy next few days. Laughing was way too young to go

Re: The WAR HORSE Chronicles

My current favorite is a mare named Cat Can Do, had her 80th start (and 12th of 2013) last October at Gulfstream, have not seen any works for 2014 though, hope she is getting a nice vacation. Re: Waiting for news on ...

I saw him taken off the lead and they said 'pulled up' but he really wasn't, was surprised to watch him cross the finish...... will be a shame if he's seriously injured because he wasn't stopped - I did not see anything obvious when he was first slowed, but maybe better eyes can see something. Will ...

Re: Eblouissante

'Sitting' on Zenyatta was the first thing that crossed my mind when I first saw the statue in real life so I can't honestly say what the guy did bothers me, although I would only do it when no one was around, if I knew I wouldn't get caught, and would make sure all evidence stayed out of social medi...

I saw that too but also saw someone told them they don't know what they're talking about and he was most likely sedated for the trip and he's not being walked for a sale, but would be curious to hear other comments from those who know...

Re: Sales/Rescues

The picture of this poor boy, Centerfold Kid, finally hit the owner's computer. He had no idea his horse was at this sale. He had made a hand-shake gentleman's agreement, to loan this horse to someone for his daughter to show, (I believe) as the owner's son was no longer going to show halter horses...

Re: Sales/Rescues

This horse was sent to slaughter with papers, awards and new shoes. Look at this poor thing standing there in it's perfect halter class pose. The kill buyer could hardly wait to load it on the trailer. Where was this horse at??? People are desperately searching for him, he was supposed to go to som...
