Re: 2019 Kentucky Derby

I was at his Florida Derby but didn't bet him because of his odds, wasn't even rooting for him actually - but I can't believe how many horses I've seen who should've come down in big races and didn't - it just feels like the horse got robbed.

Re: 2019 Kentucky Derby

Wrong again. You don't need a disaster to merit a DQ This becomes confusing when we watch worse happen daily with nothing done. There is no uniform goal. Personally, I think CDI was making a point on this given the problems facing the sport. I agree, but the general public is going to hate this - t...

1. Select one horse from each of the pools listed below. 2. Note your predicted margin of victory and final time, which will be used as tiebreakers 3. Feel free to edit selections up until five minutes before post time, but please do make a post noting any changes so that I don't miss them. 4. Point...

This is a great field. Sentimentally, I want Escape Clause to win but I think the exacta from the Azeri Stakes will repeat itself.
Almost got it!

Out of Balance (Kitten's Joy/Balance) just ran 2nd in the 1st at SA.
She seems like a nicely built filly. It would be nice to see Balance get a good one. Wonder if they'll try her on the dirt.

We lost power right as they went to the gate and the twin spires stream works for about five seconds in time. Anybody have a working stream?

From what I could see, Enable is amazing.
Breederscup.com has the feed, actually better than NBC because less commercials and more commentary.

I am glad I get TVG too - but its just absurd that NBC is not showing all of the BC races.
they are producing a feed, but you have to go to breederscup.com to see it (I just switched over from xpressbet because the video quality seems better)

Catholic Boy ran beautifully, I do wonder how Mendelssohn would do with an American jockey when he’s here.

Re: Travers 2018

Abel Tasman may have done well along the rail, but Marley's Freedom had to come four wide to take the G1 Ballerina. Maybe Mike Smith's winning touch with distaffers matters more than which part of the track the horse is on? :P Probably the winning touch of his left handed whip in the Personal Ensig...

Not necessarily famous, but half-siblings Puttheglassdown (Violence) and Fixedincome Larry (Flatter) both finished second in their respective races at Saratoga. They are both out of the Not For Love mare Comet of Love. I was rooting for Puttheglassdown - saw him schooling this week, he is absolutel...

That's pretty funny (and ironic, given he starts off with the example of the 'Pletcher Wall').
