After reading article after article I get so confused on who to bet I still don't know.
All I need to know is 1) what horses have already won at Churchill Downs and 2) who has run well in the mud.
Any help is appreciated!

The video of Chrome out in his paddock was nice, but I wonder how soon it will be when his handlers will regret his habit of rearing as if it was play. That is not a good habit to have for someone on the other end of his lead, especially for such a tall strong stallion. That could end in disaster if...

Certainly not as famous as all the recent other loses, we lost one of our older farm broodmares after her valiant try to deliver us a colt, but he too was lost. Blessed are the broodmares. RIP old gal and little one.
Glad to report that I am home from the hospital after a second scare with a blood clot in my leg. The first hosptalization, 15 days long, with 2 neck surgeries (antierer and postier fustion) the 3 rounds of chemo treatment for the tumor in my neck causing myeloma. Thank you! I'm very fortunate to be here and have the friends and family that relentlessly kept my nerves calm, and send me well wishes daily!Catalina wrote:Wishing you a speedy recovery without any bumps in the road, RtoR!
That is an amazing/scary story. :o Your decision to go to the ER on Tuesday was fortuitous, to say the least. Makes the complaint I was thinking of posting about jury duty seem pretty trivial. I hope you have a complete recovery and that the tumor tests benign. And may all your Breeders' Cup...
Well after weeks of taking muscle relaxers, pain pills, prednisone, prescribed by my personal physican, and sitting 9 hrs at the Saratoga Sale, on Tuesday morning I drove myself to the hospital. ER doctor took a cat scan and literally told me to NOT MOVE, they put a neck collar on me and strapped me...
Re: Pinched nerves in neck...yeah, I used to have them. When they'd hit, I'd have terrible, agonizing muscle spasms in my upper traps/neck...so bad I couldn't lie down. I remember spending a couple of nights trying to rest sitting up in a chair, because I couldn't lie down and get up again. X-rays ...
So excited that the movie Snowman has come to town and I'll be able to see it this weekend! May just make me forget my agony pinched nerve in my neck for a couple hours!
Anyone ever suffer through a pinched nerve in your neck? This is horrendous pain in my neck and shoulder. Living on pain pills, muscle relaxers and physical therapy. Have any hints on dealing with the pain, exercises, and does PT really help?

How has Glittering Tax done when bred to other stallions ( if she has been )? If I were the owner, I'd sure like another chance to get a quality offspring like Miss Temple City. Her two stakes winners are both by Temple City. She has 5 winners from 6 starters. Her 2yo hasn't started. The farm I wor...
