Re: Saratoga 2019

The social media pressure on Monmouth to cancel is pretty crazy. I'm not sure if I've seen anything like it. At least, for racing.

Of course most of them are from silly people who can't spell or type of sentence. Ignorance goes a long, long ways though and it's killed things bigger than racing.

Re: Saratoga 2019

RE: Saturday's planned cancellation..... For those of you that live in it, is the weather really that bad compared to prior years or is it possible that the industry is being extremely cautious in favor of horse welfare? thanks. People forget how oppressive the humidity is. Walking from the car to ...

Has it been established why Preservationist is only coming into form as a 6 year old? I see he only has 8 starts.
We don't look the gift if an older thoroughbred still running at 6 in the mouth.

Re: The Belmont Derby

Yeah, it's not responsible to do it just because no one had the winner (unless you're my boyfriend). Immediately after I went back over to see where I was wrong and I guess a clean trip does count for a lot. In a full, competitive field anything can happen. Maybe he's the only horse in the field tha...

People like to pretend women in the US have it bad, making up problems we supposedly face...they should go to the Middle East.
They aren't mutually exclusive.

This forum in it's day probably could have saved racing. A lot of us probably would have contributed for free.

Re: Jockey/Trainer News - 2019

Trying to read between the lines here - are they insinuating he is doing something to his horses? That's my guess. It seems arbitrary to randomly pick him when I think there are better suggestions. Unless this is a Dutrow situation and Jerry was just pissing off the wrong people. Santa Anita blamin...

Re: Santa Anita 2019

There had to be something behind the saying "Jerry got to him/her".

I don't follow SoCal racing like I used to but I feel like every horse of his I liked had a limited amount of time to be good before he ruined them.

Who is next? There are bigger druggies than him.

You should warn people about the picture their brain is going to be seared with when they open that link. There is something wrong with those people. None of them should ever be allowed to own an animal again. And kudos to Victoria and Co. . . . They're getting some $$$ from me. It is beyond horrif...

Thought I was getting minor surgery on Monday, but got a call today that it was canceled because I don't need surgery right now, but I might need major surgery in the future, because they probably identified what's going on and it's probably normal but also it could be cancer. Oh, and the mass is w...

Re: 2019 Belmont Stakes

Mitole is a beast. There is really nothing more I love than really fast horses. I wonder if they try to stretch him out another furling because he didn't look like he'd have a problem going a little further. That pedigree might have a problem though. The most underrated story of the weekend is Catal...
