Re: Eblouissante

Such a shame she retires with bettors having had so few opportunities to play against her. If her Shuvee was any indication, she was going to take the dumb money every time out. Shirreffs spent too much time trying to set the record for most recorded workouts without a start and too little time giv...

Grow disenchanted with Racing? How could that ever happen? I'll use one example you cite frequently... breakdowns. There's moot and not really relevant here, though. This guy is a lifelong fan, so I'm sure he got into this realizing what it might cost.. but sometimes when you into something fully, ...

If you're close to the Brookyln bridge, try Gramaldi's They also have one in Douglastown, but the original is better: http://www.grimaldis.com/ There is almost always an absolutely long wait to get into here. I've done it more than once, and have waited up to an hour. There's a place around the corne...

Re: Mike Repole

I can't comment knowledgeably on his auction status, but my mom I always taught me if I had nothing nice to say, not to say it at all... unless I had something to back it up with. It's hard mouthing off things like the BC publicly (merited or not) when the horses you might have running in it no one ...

Last Gunfighter could be an interesting play underneath. He'll probably go off at an ok price.

I wish the food trucks would be there. That was a great idea, and the Lebanese one was particularly delicious.

Re: 2013 Breeders Cup Classic

I agree that RD would not be the controlling speed if all the boys show up. I also agree that I don't think she can win any other way. But I would hold off saying she has no business in that race. A lot can happen between now and Nov, suppose she is the only quality speed left to run? I would take ...

Game on Dude does not throw in the towel any time he's challenged. He's not even always on the lead. Saying stuff like that gives no credence to your argument. And I love Orb. He's in over his head Saturday. I cannot see any of my money on him. At this point this is really a discussion with two grou...

Re: Super Saturday at Belmont!

If you want to buy seating in the clubhouse is won't be a problem. It's an additional $3 (maybe $5) to sit there. I've never had an issue buying seating there, ever, except for the Belmont. There are less people there to annoy you, too lol. It looks to be a gorgeous day. There really isn't anything ...

I don't know if any other tracks are following suit, and I only noticed because I'll probably be at Churchill Downs that weekend and wanted to see if they're still running the Chilukki (it will go on Saturday around 6:30pm). We left the track last year pretty early in order to speed to the hotel to...

I am amazed at how immature almost everyone in my age bracket is.

Why can't God drop a nice 30+ year old male on my doorstep.
