I'm only stating that I don't think, at least here or in my own circle of racing folk, that anyone has said he's a bad horse. Just that his campaign is boring.

Two vastly different statements.

Time for the naysayers to return to tell us this horse really isn't all that good.
I'm not sure I've ever seen or heard anyone say he's not that good. Only that him beating up on creampuffs is egregiously underwhelming.

Re: Wise Dan

He wins.

I would actually like to see this horse lose, so maybe they do something exciting with him, but that won't happen. 1:31 and change in a hand ride.

He could be, but it's really hard to say one way or the other some 3 months out.

But not discussing these things is boring.

Thankfully, 1.6 years out of college did not curb my anal studying habits one bit (read: intense sarcasm). I am at least pretty sure my brain is still in my head.. some 5 hours later.

Re: Breeders' Cup Top 5

They're pointing Verrazano towards the Dirt Mile.. I think he would be very formidable there.

I'd be so excited if they tried him on turf.. especially since he's already got two G1s on the main.

Re: College Football

I'm kind of surprised A&M v. Bama didn't get a prime time spot.

Some kid in the crowd was just waving a sign saying something along the lines of a ticket to this game cost a fortune, making the sign cost him some money, and the degree he'll get from Alabama is useless. I thought it was very funny.

Saratoga's Attendance Apparently No Good

http://www.paulickreport.com/news/the-biz/veitch-saratoga-attendance-an-embarassment/ Before the obvious candidates step forward to denigrate me for voicing any issue with NYRA, I'd like to say that I hope I'm fortunate enough in my life to die at Saratoga (it's that awesome of a place) and think, a...

They're back - the spammers. A curse on them. May their night go as well as it will for the Jets tonight. I don't know about that... the Pats are riddled with injuries. Welcome to the club! The fact they reduced the mandatory practices is showing tremendously in my opinion. We're down five? starts ...
