What happened during those 5 months?

There's really no point in even discussing tougher medication rules until they can be handled in a more timely manner on a routine basis.

Re: Shared Belief

we can start with animal kingdom, who had a slab fracture - and was intact for stud deals - but came back to win in dubai. he didn't have surgery as far as a recall, so there's one horse that supports what everyone else is trying to tell you about SB. unless he isn't as special as SB and it was fin...

Re: Shared Belief

Stark, that makes no sense at all. The horse is 4 years old. He didn't have any surgery (apart from gelding him). And if he wasn't gelded we wouldn't even be having this conversation as everybody would nod their heads in agreement that it was a close call so off to the breeding shed he goes. And I ...

Dortmund rewatch the Robert B. Lewis and you'll see why :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_POt19BzVo Funny but that's the exact reason why I like FIRING LINE who raced wide and green, hoping both he and GaryStevens learned a thing or two from that race, never shoulda let Dort back in the race. Re: Flores seeks reinstatement

Since we don't have the National Racing Czar that so many have asked for, it's clear the idea of a world-wide honcho is an impossible dream. Therefore, I say let the states do whatever they want, why should any state be required to follow the rules of another state, not to mention another country, g...

Re: Shared Belief

let's go ahead and retire every single promising/established runner while we're at it, hm? Uhhh, noooooo! That wasn't close to my recommendation and why would you suggest it? Here you've got a horse that doesn't pencil out, the cost/benefit analysis says it ain't worth the risk, why not just be hap...

Just One Horse

No more prep races so no more top ten lists, no more superfecta boxes, errrr at least not in this thread. Who is the one horse you will be betting on to win the Derby, even if it's pretend money? Or perhaps you're not going to bet at all because the favourite isn't high enough odds? Whatever, who wi...

Never Never Never should owner Jim Rome let that horse race again. As a new owner who previously disliked the sport of horse racing, he got about as much bang for his buck as anybody could possibly imagine along with priceless emotional highs. It's time for Shared Belief to be a stable pony, there's...
