Re: Remsen

Cairo Prince drew a good post. Noble Moon perhaps not so much in the 1 spot, but it's 9f and not an overly large field, so he should be able to fall in behind the early leaders and still get a good trip.

Re: Early Derby favorites

Seems like there hasn't been much mention of Shared Belief, but his Hollywood Prevue S. performance (99 BSF) was very impressive.

Re: Remsen

Really looking forward to this one. Cairo Prince, who was very impressive last out, and Honor Code look like the top two in here, but Noble Moon (if he runs) could have an impact as well. This looks like one of the best renewals of this race in quite awhile.

Re: 2 year olds of 2013

Two other 2yos that look like ones to watch, especially as distances increase, are Unknown Road and Noble Moon.

Re: 2 year olds of 2013

Imo, the top three 2yo's at this time (with an eye toward next May) are:

1 - Cairo Prince
2 - Honor Code
3 - Strong Mandate

Re: Nashua, Tempted featured on Aqueduct's opening weekend

Somewhat surprised no one has mentioned this race result yet, at least in this thread. A very impressive performance by Cairo Prince, crossing the wire more than a full second faster than the winning 2yo filly a few races earlier on the card. He made a very strong move on the turn and quickly opened...

Re: 2013 Breeders' Cup Classic

Glad for the winning trainer and jockey. Also, a really nice race by the Euro Declaration of War. Had he changed leads in the stretch.... it appeared as though he only lost by a half length or less as it was. But AO has Australia back in the barn to look forward to.

Re: Champagne Stakes (G1)

Really looking forward to this race. Strong Mandate looks like the real deal and the one to beat in here. He's a big, strong colt that should only get better with more distance and age given his pedigree. Otherwise, Havana owns the best BSF with a 102, and Honor Code came from some 20+ lengths back ...
