Re: Siblings (and offspring) of well-known horses

Empire of War (Declaration of War x Shehadmefromhello), a half-brother to Separationofpowers, just won the Awad Stakes at Aqueduct.

Watch now as Declaration of War’s kiddos start winning stakes races more and more after his exportation. I’ve noticed this trend.

Re: 2019 Three-Year-Olds

Kind of hard for me to get excited for next year because of the recent trend of the Derby winners not going on afterwards or post-Triple Crown, but I do love Knicks Go.

Re: Breeders’ Cup News & Notes- 2018

Was AOB @ the BreedersCu? Never saw him when I was watching NBC. Maybe he went early to Melbourne? I’m pretty sure he was. I think I remember them talking to him on NBC (before the Turf) but I could be imagining things. I kept looking for him in the winners circle. ;) https://i.imgur.com/ORGLsXd.gif

He is. The Pegasus is before the breeding season starts, so he will stay in training and run in the race beforehand.

Freddy Head is upset with the state vets decision to scratch Polydream . He had her out trotting this morning to make a point. Vet refused to watch. i think that was a terrible decision-- and don't blame Freddy Head for being upset --- You would think the vets would read up on the horse and look at...

According to DRF, Abel Tasman and Vale Dori have been retired.

Vale Dori is set to go to Hill 'N Dale Farm and will visit Justify, while Abel Tasman is headed to Clearsky Farms with no breeding plans decided.

Well done, ladies.

In a post-race interview (in the "Accelerate Won" article on BH) Thunder Snow's trainer said he was likely to stay in training for 2019 to defend his DWC title.
