Re: Prince of Wales Stakes

Sources? I thought they were taking it one at a time. Everything I've read seems to say he's lined up on the trail (both in racing and non-racing specific sources)

Re: American Pharoah

I was being facetious, hence the winky face... and why I specified that I didn't actually know whether Coil did ship directly to Saratoga or not after the Haskell. I was making a joke in reference to all the people who were b*tching after the Preakness that Baffert should be shipping AP to Belmont w...

Re: American Pharoah

Wouldn't the Travers be unlikely if Baffert has already confirmed he'll be shipping back to Del Mar after the Haskell? I can't remember if this is some thing Baffert also did with example Point Given and Coil who ran in the Travers as well? According to this old ESPN article http://espn.go.com/hors...

Interesting pedigrees on some of these colts. Particularly salivating over Awesome Slew, Magna Light, Sunny Ridge. Cocked and Loaded also has some interesting stuff going on, and Percolator as well as Uncle Vinny.

Should be an interesting group of colts to follow.

Re: Vacation

I go down to Cape Cod every easter to visit family. Generally speaking we stick to the Falmouth and Woodshole areas, there's a couple of nice, smaller/quieter beaches as opposed to the Outer Cape which has the most touristy/popular beaches (amongst the top in the USA).

Re: Problems Trying to Join (or re-join) Forum...

I think I found a way to circumvent this. My friend tried registering at the beginning of the TC trail in 2014 with the username Danedream. She got the confirmation message that said she needed to wait for an admin to approve. She never got the confirmation message. This year sometime in April she t...

Re: American Pharoah

On a slghtly unrelated note...I bought Travers tickets in hopes that AP would be sent there, but failed to book a place to stay and now it seems as though every place is all booked up (unsurprisingly) - any advice? I don't drive so I'm pretty much limited to anything right near downtown or the trac...

Re: American Pharoah

A poster on another forum floated the idea that Coolmore might stand AP in the Southern Hemisphere before he stands here in the US. That would mean he'd start his stud career late next summer in Oz....which could allow him to race this coming spring. Like maybe in Dubai? I know that seems farfetche...

Biofuel --> Cairo Prince Exclusive Rosette (2nd dam of American Pharoah) --> Cairo Prince No Such Word --> Cairo Prince Biofuel is by a Storm Cat son (similarly to Littleprincessemma being by Yankee Gentleman). Exclusive Rosette might be interesting. Really Excited about No Such Word - had never lo...

Re: American Pharoah

Nice time. He looks great. Let this horse run next year. I second this. What wouldn't I do for him to have a 4 year old season. I wonder if the Dubai World Cup with its purse would be attractive enough? Certainly would increase his appeal I would think on the Australian stud market if he prov...

He doesn't run at Saratoga.. so who knows. His record there probably prevents him from doing so.
Didn't he also call it a "gimmicky race track"?

Maybe the Springsteen slated to come is his daughter, Jessica Springsteen :D ? Dunno if she's competing at the PanAm games but it would be a nice way to celebrate.

According to Pedigreequery, the 2013 Dubawi x Ouija Board finally has a name: Frontiersman

ETA: He is owned by Darley and in training with Charlie Appleby apparently.

Tattersalls Yearling Sale (Oct 2015)

Too early or?

My understanding is that Danedream's filly by Frankel will be sold there, which means there is a good chance she might race in Europe.

Does anyone know of any other high profile offspring that might be sold there this year?
