Re: 2017 Fasig-Tipton November Sale

Who's the dam of the Uncle Mo? Are you paying full price on Tapit's fee, or do they do foal shares since mom is a GSW producer? Just curious, I've heard Tapit is hard to get into.

Re: 2017 Keeneland November Sale

Hip 3 has a crazy page. Bred to three different stallions, last cover date of August 10th? Why not just leave her open, way way too late of a service date.

Re: The VENT Thread

This crazy Ohio weather from 90 degrees one week (holy hell batman, in October?? My birthday month  ) to it being high 40s at night now is ridiculous. I'm assuming that's why my two year old is sick. Poor baby. And I feel bad because I get stressed that I'm not doing things right or I ...

I hope the Buckeyes get their s%*t together, if they keep playing like they have been this season will be disappointing. Perhaps the dismantling of Rutgers 56-0 and Urban's coaching always helps.

Omg how awful, I remember her posts? Was she ill? She wasn't that much younger than me :( horrible news. My best wishes go out to all her family and friends. Losing a loved one is always hard.

A piece that 60 minutes Australia has done on the mighty mare. It's quite touching.

Re: Winx

That was an absolute cracker of a race. Seriously. She strolls out of the gate, at a distance shorter than she prefers really, and STILL wins by a long neck. Goosebumps, the mighty mare has no equal.

Reckless Abandon

One of the best 2yos in recent years in England, was he ever given another shot at a different stud like cacique was, or did they give up? I know he raced like 3 times after that, then nothing.

Re: Winx

What a mighty mare. I can't say enough about her. For a country so focused on sprints and speed, two year old speed at that, how amazing is she? Wins on heavy/fast ground, from distances ranging from 6 1/2f to about a mile and 3/8ths. Such versatility, with a turn of foot I haven't seen in a while. ...

Fame and Glory has died from a heart attack while covering a mare. Montjeu and his sons are so unlucky. St. Nicholas Abbey was the biggest loss of them all.

Value Plus had his goodies on full display at Fasig Tipton. The handler was laughing, and the deadpan response by the auctioneer was pure gold. Lol.

When he retires, I'd love to see Belle Gallantey bred to him. Their second dams are full sisters, inbreeding to Meadow Star. It'd be kinda neat to see.

Re: Masochistic DQ'ed from BC Sprint

I wonder if the horse will be retired. He's a 7yo gelding now, not the soundest horse but a talented sprinter when he is right. What's the point in running him in sprints all year if they can't get him in the championship race? Yeah I know the BC isn't always considered to be the one you have to win...

Omg the Comissioner filly was too adorable in the ring. I honestly thought they'd scratch them. The auctioneer was funny. Obviously the mare's not pregnant lol
