Pleasant Acres shared a new conformation photo of Bucchero, but they cropped it strangely and cut some of his nose off. You can see it full throttle at his website.

looks fine on my computer. maybe they made the webpage for widescreens?

Re: Random News about Breeding and Breeders

OK so, update on Stonewall's Pestige via neighbors on Facebook. The owner, Richard, and his wife declared bankruptcy and the property was possessed. It has been sold. The new owners of the farm have spent the last week or two cleaning it out and regrouping. The stallions aren't at the property anym...

Re: 2019 Three-Year-Olds

Wasn't Omaha Beach suppose to race in 2020? or was the plan always to retire? The stud deal that was announced in the Spring just said, he would go to Spendthrift upon his retirement, there was no year mentioned but 99% of the time once a stud deal is done the horse is retired at the end of the year.

I sent you a private message since I doubt anyone wants to read my rambling detective work. I wish you good luck on finding his grave if it exists.

Re: Stallion News

Based on my visit to Ashford last year, there's a WHOLE lot of people who could buy the "American Pharaoh didn't bite ME!" T-shirts . :-). BTW I don't believe it either, but it it's true. . .kinda weird. :x Maybe AP can sense evil? Why does everything in our time have to be...you don't agree with m...

Hip # 2146 .. a Colt (Summer Front-On the Menu), sold for one thousand. Was that the low price of the session? :? Summer Front X No Such Word (G1 winner) RNA'd for $1,000 - definitely not a good advertisement for the stallion. There were 2 other horses besides Summer Front X On the Menu sold for $1...

Re: 2019 Keeneland September

Bayerns must not look like much or have female pedigree to support them. 4 offered, 3 of them sold for $3500 or less They don't have particularly strong female sides. He had one sell for $200,000 earlier in the sale. He isn't doing terribly as a sire considering its only September, he has 9 winners...

Re: 2019 Keeneland September

Coolmore has nothing to do with Runhappy. He's standing at Claiborne Farm and his promotion seems likes its primarily coming from his former owner, who of course probably still has a bulk of his shares as a stallion, so he benefits from his success. I meant Claiborne. It is Jim McIngvale, not Claib...

Shocked that Keeneland has such a low floor on these yearling when I see $1500 and $4000. Would have thought $5000 would be floor.
its $1000

Re: American Pharoah's Children

Abu Haul came in 7th in his debut today in Japan. His dam, Kitten's Dumplings , was purchased by Shadai in 2016 privately, foaled Abu Haul in the US, was bred back to American Pharoah and then exported to Japan with Abu Haul's full brother in utero. She was bred to Heart's Cry for a 2019 foal. I wo...

Logician, who just won the St. Leger, is registered as roan. But isn’t it impossible for Tbreds to be roan? Or is it just a registry thing and he’s not actually a true roan? Its just a registry thing. I'm not sure if it is impossible anymore, there have been some true roans that have come from the ...

Re: Stallion News

I was looking at the leading 2nd year stallions. The big surprise to me is the stallion with the most SWs this year. The leader is, Souper Speedy, who has 5 SWs from 31 runners and a 2.61 AEI. That is impressive. He stands in Canada for CAN$4,000 and is a 1/2 brother to Brilliant Speed.

Kidtapit , the final foal of Tap Your Heels by Super Saver. Hasn't recorded a workout and was RNA for $140K at KeeSep in 2016. He was with trainer Steven Dwoskin and was working at least in November/December 2018 at Gulfstream. But couldn't find anything beside that. I included a link to his few wo...

I would trust Maria's Mon's word on that. You might be confusing Leslie with Lotta Kim, who was bred to Bolt d'Oro (for some reason). I checked their facebook. They are showing stall doors with old nameplates on them, Seattle Slew and Nashua, and keep saying 9/13/19. Yeah, their posts are similar on other social media platforms. I’ve seen the ads but didn’t realize there was a date on them... a teaser for sure. They’ve already an...

He is at the same farm. Its kind of neat to see a farm that lists all stallions they have ever stood, even if only for one year.
