Re: 2019 Three-Year-Olds

He'd maybe have run through the end of 2018 unless he came from an amazing female family. There is no way he would be running in 2019. In my lifetime I've seen a 2yo season essentially become pointless and the spacing in between starts increase. Catholic Boy is getting a long break. From what? His ...

I work for a Japanese company and when we have advisors in from Japan many of them bring these for a gift. These are out of this world delicious.

Sparrow, how sweet is that story. I’m sure that that those at Coolmore we’re also heartbroken since she had been there close to 3 years. I wish I could have seen her in person, I remember that lovely photo of her and her trainer, so beautiful.

Star-crossed mare Royal Delta's only foal in training with Roger Varian One of racing’s most poignant stories is set to continue in Europe as the only foal produced by the star-crossed three-time American champion mare Royal Delta, a now two-year-old bay filly by Galileo, will be trained by Roger V...

Re: 2019 Pegasus World Cup

I can totally relate. If my dad had trained horses instead of working in automotive mfg., I would have cried my eyes out when a favorite left the stable. He must be pretty laid back for her to be so attached. Very sweet of her dad to have his arm around her to comfort her. Very bittersweet moment.

Re: horses with unique coloring/facial markings

Can Americans invest in these racing syndicates/clubs?

That would be so much fun to do. Is there s monthly maintenance fee or anything other than the initial investment, I’m sure there must be.

Ouch! Well if he did run well it would be a pretty cool moment. His name is pretty cool as well. I love Accelerate so I hope he runs well, but I love an underdog as well.

So are trials not counted as a regular race? I’ve not heard of trials before in thoroughbred racing. I know Standardbreds use heats for some races. Are these just souped up workouts or what?

Re: Expensive Purchases Hit The Racetrack

Though she is not a sales horse, is Royal Delta’s only offspring in training yet? I would think Mr. Besilu would have her at his farm in Florida, but if they race her would it be her in the States or Europe?

Re: 2019 Pegasus World Cup

What chances do you give Kukulkan? I heard his trainer talking this morning on HRN radio and he is very high on this guy. I think it would be so cool if he could do it. Since Calumet stands his grand sire and an eclectic collection of stallions I wonder if they would not try to obtain breeding right...

Nice article and photos of Zenyatta's 2017 filly. They don't mention a name for her. She is on the right in both photos. http://www.zenyatta.com/site/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/IMG_0051-768x576.jpeg http://www.zenyatta.com/site/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/IMG_7663-768x576.jpg http://www.zenyatta.com/...
