The race was impacted by heavy rain, but Dunbar Road was still best. :D

Tone Broke makes it 2/3 in the Canadian Crown by taking the Breeders' Stakes!
I really like him, he ran impressively.

Although he didn’t win any of them, I think Ivan Dalos’ colt - Avie’s Flatter - ran really courageously in each race.

Re: The 'Runs Like a Girl' thread

I’m looking forward to the Alabama - Dunbar Road was my longshot pick in the Oaks but she didn’t make it in. I think her and Guarana are the two top fillies in this division (sorry Serengeti Empress).

I can’t see either of those horses being around next year so I’m just going to pretend like they are already retired.

Gozilla (Flatter-Atlantic Dream-Stormy Atlantic) looked fantastic today in a maiden race at Saratoga. Myrtlewood shows up way, way back in the pedigree.
I love his pedigree. Stormy Atlantic and Flatter both very underrated horses.

Re: The Arlington Million

B & M, imo, is the leading candidate for HOY... and I know lots of people will disagree... but 4 dominating G1 wins, and I would say it’s going to take a damn good horse to beat him (if he gets beat) in the BC Turf. The horse reminds me of his sire - tough, talented and competitive.

Bricks and Mortar is off to Shadai after the Breeders' Cup.

I was hoping he'd stay in training for Ascot next year.
Bummer. He’s stunning and a helluva racehorse.

Re: 2019 Two-Year-Olds

I just cannot get behind a horse who comes from a sire line of big, slower maturers and with a grandsire with zig-zag legs... who runs THAT fast. How long is he going to be around???

Re: 2019 Three-Year-Olds

Mr. Money won the Indiana Derby. He’s a running freak, and he’s become my favourite 3-year-old colt. He won the WV Derby (G3) today by 6 lengths. He may not be the best 3yo colt, but he’s become the most consistent. He is fantastic! They have done a great job of managing him. I will be rooting for ...

Tiz A Slam dominated the Nijinsky (G2) today at Woodbine. I would love to see this guy win Canadian HOY! He is a great example of a sound, hard knocking competitor who has maintained his class for years.

GW has got to win more than a 4-horse race in CA.
There should be more than 4 in the Travers unless he scares 'em away ;)
